In addition to the personality classes themselves, players can unlock additional development paths according to the Trails of Path of exile currency Ascendency mechanics. As a result, each class gains the ability to unlock a"subclass", offering additional passive bonuses and allowing better customization of the character for the player.

Templar - access into the Hierophant, Inquisitor and Guardian classes. Shadow - access to the Trickster, Saboteur and Assassin classes. Marauder - accessibility into the Berserker, Juggernaut and Chieftain classes. Scion - accessibility Ascendant, to a single course. Ranger - access to Deadeye, Raider and Pathfinder classes. Duelist - accessibility to the Gladiator, Slayer and Champion classes. Witch - access into the Occultist, Elementalist and Necromancer classes.

The mechanisms of courses - to allocate points and to unlock classes - is clarified in another chapter of the guide.

Path of Exile - sockets in things

In Path of Exile, as in hack and slash games, things - in this case weapon and armor elements - could have slots. This is the place where the differences start - in Path of Exile, you don't set stones that increase their parameters, but skill rocks that allow characters to use lively abilities.It works on the same principle as from the old Final Fantasy VII. The player places a skill rock in the slotmachine, and then places the item on the character to have the ability to POE currency for sale use the skill associated with the rock.
