Boss Encounters: Managing Damage Zones Effectively
When fighting bosses in PoE 2, the difficulty spikes and damage zones become more complex. Here are some examples of common elemental damage zones in boss fights and how to handle them:
Fire-based Bosses
Watch out for fire puddles or explosive fire waves. These zones stay on the ground for a while, dealing continuous damage. Stay mobile, and move out of Path of exile currency these puddles quickly to avoid being burned.
Use Flame Dash or Leap Slam to reposition yourself quickly when you see fire trails or fireballs heading your way.
Lightning-based Bosses
Lightning arcs or lightning ground storms can deal massive damage in a short time. Watch the boss’s cast animations to cheap POE orbs predict where these strikes will hit and keep your distance.
If you see a lightning charge attack from a boss, move to the opposite side of the arena to avoid getting hit by the aoe lightning burst.
