Elden Ring Patches Out Spiral Of Death Exploit That Bricked Saves
Elden Ring players have discovered no shortage of Elden Ring Runes ways to smack one another in PVP but one ploy that was discovered on PC was especially dastardly. It let players trap opponents in an endless death loop , which could damage their saves. This is not a good thing! Thankfully, the developer FromSoftware was able to fix the issue in a tiny update to the game that went live earlier today.
"Fixed a bug in multiplayer that permitted players to use teleportation to wrong coordinates on maps," reads one of the notes included in the mini-1.03.2 patch. Bandai Namco didn't elaborate on how the bug was fixed, whether players who abused it would be banned, or what would happen to players it was already used on. The publisher hasn't responded to a request for comments.
A PSA by an Elden Ring news account warning players about the exploit blew up on Twitter last week , March 18. "There's an exploit that's being used on PC that allows hackers to corrupt the save file of your game while they invade your computer," it read. "First they'll shut down your game. Once you open it again, your character will be always falling to cheap Elden Ring Runes their deaths. ..."
